DigitalPointSucks - Thousand Reasons Why You Shouldn't Trust DigitalPoint

Now when I have done some research I see that more and more people hate DP. A simple google search gave a good result and I came up with this article :

For those that aren’t familiar with DP, I’ve composed a list of one hundred reasons to avoid that place (in no particular order):

2. They think Google’s Toolbar PageRank is important (which it’s not)

5. They think Article Submissions are important
6. They think Press Releases are important
7. They think submitting via Social Bookmarks is important
8. They actually applaud participation in Link Programs
9. No creative Forum Icons
10. They think “Google is Evil”
11. They promote splogs
12. They promote Espionage
13. They promote Link Scheming
14. They promote Blackhat SEO techniques
15. They promote Stumble Exchanges
16. They promote Digg Exchanges
17. They promote Clickbank Posts
18. It sits on a sub-domain
19. It’s too big
20. Members have tried to sell their accounts
21. Trying to filter all the good posts from the bad posts is like finding a needle in a haystack
22. They actually have an “Interesting Junk” dropdown menu in their forum toolbar (Under “Fun Stuff”)
23. Reputation is disabled in the “Members List”

    I just love this post and I'm extremely thankful to the admin of that website. But I would love to add my 2 cents :101 The admin S. Hogan

    103 Moderator work is just a rip off
    104 They have so many disadvantages it will take me a month to write out!

I hope that you have read my previous posts about "Why Did Shawn Hogan Hack DPS". Well it is just a start. Now they have a new rule, every post that describes the negative part of DP is the lifetime ban (I got one by they way)! So I will describe this in detail for you :)
Most of us have seen this post "S. Hogan strikes back" on DP forum. That's me and the admin of the DPS started posting and telling people the truth about it. They were taking it as a joke of course. So then I have posted a great reply as it follows :

Me : So small? Man, have you seen a hacked site with 0 users to have 26798,29304 Alexa Rank.
This site is a DP killer and all of us (even shawn) knows it. Shawn has to pray, so this site doesn't get back soon. (Hmm, will I get a ban for this post, sure i will. See ya guys!)

Me : Man, don't even bother explaining them. Hogan is behind this shit and we all know it. Noone really wants to tell it's b/c they are afraid of the ban!
And guess what? We are both banned! Yohooo! Mods ban all people related to DPS! I agree a bit rude and straight forward, but infraction will do just great for it. I got a lifetime infraction for a honest post and they banned me for double accounts (man I never had that, there are more then 1000 people with the same IP as me, hello! It's Europe, not US where everyone has it's own IP!)
So whatever you do, keep your month shut, because DP mods are looking forward to give your an infraction or a ban.
I think that this post will change your mind about DP and you will admit that DP sucks! And S.Hogan and his mods are not going to change about anything so far. Whatever, join the Anti-DP revolution and spread the word about this blog!

Yeah, that is one of a hell news. Shawn Hogan (the owner of digitalpoint.com) hacked DigitalPointSucks.com (that want the main board says). When I visited DigitalPointSucks.com last time I have seen that message


So I was like, "What the hell? I like this place so much!" This website is owned by some brave guys who want to really improve the webmaster world and they are first to step up against DigitalPoint well known as DP.

So well, there are a lot of discussion going around this news but I will try to break it down.
Why Would Shawn Hogan Hack DigitalPointSucks.com ?
Well there are a lot of things to consider :

• DP is slowly dying and this board could probably end the "DP era"
• Forum was about to get launched and it is ranked 4th in google for "Digital Point" term and 1st for "Digital Point Sucks" and has a great alexa standing
• So people have already started to switch to DigitalPointSucks.com
• The other one is : Why Did He Put Up His Name?
  Well some people say it's not exactly S. Hogan, but definitely someone standing behind him (ther is no doubts about that). And stating the Hogan's name is just a cover up for some other hacker.
  Is This Hack Is Just A Marketing Move?
  No, all rumors about this is just a LIE! DigitalPointSucks.com owners are shocked by this and still can't resolve the hacking problem, that's why I want to help them with this blog.
  Conclusion : DPS scared the crap out of DigitalPoint owners, so they had to actually hack them. This site was getting so much traffic and users so in 1 week of pre-launch time they are already placed on 268,42294 rank place in Alexa. The 324% change in just several month is impressive. Whatever you say or do, I will defend this thought.
  There are a lot of posts about DPS hacking even on DP, screw that and see that I'm telling you :)

  So now you know why Digitalpoint SUCKS THAT MUCH!

DP is something I used to really love (it was like two years ago), but now that place is like hell! People are just leaving that ugly place, look at the Alexa Rank of DP, it has negative increase of 58%!



They have lost almost all audience and I know the reason! That's why this blog has been started! DigitalPoint has lost all reputed members and can not recover because of

* Progressive amount of spammers and scammers
* New rules that just don't make sense!
* Dumb "PM me" rule
* The whole point of running the board is wrong (they treat members like dirtbags)
* Butthead moderators which give you 10 infractions at a time
* And the main problem about this site is the ADMIN!!! S. Hogan is ***** (it's supposed to be a nice blog :) )

I could go on and on forever. All this place makes me just mad, because admin and moderators think that they rule and we all suck! But I will prove that DigitalPoint - SUCKS!
